EFF joins Gauteng government as Nkululeko Dunga gets appointed as Finance MEC
The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) has officially joined the Gauteng Government of Provincial Unity, with Nkululeko Dunga appointed as the new Finance MEC. This major cabinet reshuffle by Premier Panyaza Lesufi marks a significant political shift in Gauteng, giving the EFF direct influence on provincial decision-making.
The changes include Lebogang Maile moving to Education, while Matome Chiloane has been removed from the cabinet. This move comes after the EFF supported the provincial budget, securing Dunga’s position in the executive council.
