Civil movement March and March has confirmed that it has suspended its working relationship with media personality and activist Ngizwe Mchunu with immediate effect, pending the outcome of an internal investigation.
In a statement released this week, the organisation said the decision follows the uncovering of “serious allegations” during its internal processes.
According to March and March, the investigation revealed claims that certain politicians and business groups have been attempting to disrupt and divide the movement’s members.
The statement further alleges that some individuals were offered and accepted benefits with the intention of “selling out and undermining the movement.”
“As a result of these findings, March and March has decided to suspend its working relationship with Ngizwe Mchunu while the investigation continues,” the organisation said.
The movement did not provide further details on the specific allegations or the timeline for the investigation, but said it remains committed to protecting the integrity of its structures and members.
Mchunu, a well-known voice in community activism and online media, has not yet responded publicly to the suspension.
March and March said it will communicate further developments once the investigation has been concluded.
